One Click Ventures is an eCommerce company located in Greenwood, IN; and also where I spent the first 15 months of my career. It is the parent company of three brands, built around a single vision: to redefine the way people buy eyewear. One Click is on a mission to enrich lives by helping people find the eyewear meant for them; its brands include SunglassWarehouse.com, Readers.com and felix + iris.
As a PR & Marketing Specialist, it was my job to tell the brand stories. When I started in June 2014, One Click was three months away from launching felix + iris, the first brand built entirely in-house. I was tasked with planning the ultimate local launch party and creating a local "blitz" around felix + iris. One Click partnered with Verge for the launch party, which was hosted at the Sanctuary on Penn and brought in 250+ attendees, as well as 10+ local media hits.
Additional responsibilities at OCV:
--Launched a felix + iris style and eye-health workshop series at local companies.
--Built and maintained traditional media & online influencer relationships for all three brands.
--Strategic planning and execution of One Click social media and internal newsletter.
--Managed relationship with philanthropic partner, Timmy Global Health.
